The 2009 Parranda de Navidena was a huge success with 36 two person teams. The six flights had traditional Christmas food names and the themed parties featured music from Swing Sabroso and Karla Alegria. Flight winners and runner-ups included;

From the Desk of the Pro;

    The multi-level parking facility is open from 4:00 pm Friday-6:00 am Monday morning during weekend breaks from the construction process. The golf members and guests will temporarily use the basement area, which will eventually be the golf maintenance area and the golf car building. The upper levels are available for overflow and hotel parking and the total open air parking facility should be finished before summer 2010. The casino construction is also going well and should be finished before summer as well and become a nice addition to the lively Dorado del Mar landscape.
The Salvinia Molesta in the lakes has final been planned for permanent removal with the help of R. Maldonado & Co. Agricultural chemical services. It will be sprayed with a surface chemical and then a bacteria to break it down, the process should take a month and the lakes should be free of the noxious weed that has plagued Dorado del Mar Golf Club for over 5 years.
